Creative & Social Evening at the Royal Oak Public Library
We were invited to demonstrate knitting and spinning at the Royal Oak Public Library on July 15, 2009. What a fantastic turn out for the many area knitters & spinners! It was a fun night to relax and socialize with other creative minds in the community. Marilyn brought Camelot, one of her angora rabbits. She spun right off his body. It was amazing to watch, even if you've seen it before. Enjoy some of the pictures from he evening.

Thanks to all who volunteered! Thank you for .....
donating your dog fur, spinning, knitting, moving furniture, watching doppler radar the night of the event!, making lemonade signs, selling lemonade, taking pictures, taking video, making beautiful displays, working on friday evenings for many months in preparation for this event, making signs, dog treats, advertising, donating time and energy into all the activities i didn't individually list and did i mention moving furniture in case of a rain out? oh yes - and THANK YOU to the BAND, Angelo Primo.

Charity Knitting & Spinning ~~~~~~
Thank you to all our generous knitters to donated time to our last charity theme, WARMTH.
Such items included hats, gloves, scarves or mittens. We are so very grateful for all our generous knitters who have donated.
The Judson Center in Royal Oak was very appreciative of the numerous beautiful gifts.

Join us the last Friday of each month for Charity Knitting
6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Ewe-nique Knits
Charity Knitters who join us, will receive a 10% Thank You for Caring discount the evening of charity knitting
Spring/Summer Charity Knitting will focus on Hats, Gloves, Scarves & Mittens
Knit together on Charity Knitting Friday Evenings or knit on your own and bring finished items to us.
All Spring/Summer long, we will be knitting, crocheting & collecting warm items for the less fortunate.
All collected items will be donated in Fall 2008
